Darkwave duo Faith and the Muse has played Dragon*Con in the past. I recall seeing their set back in 2004 when they took the stage before Voltaire and The Crüxshadows. They return this year to support a new studio album, the first since 2003′s The Burning Season.

Monica Richards and William Faith have been making music together since 1993, racking up five albums and an extensive tour history. They are currently signed with Metropolis Records and in the process of putting together a new studio album along with a new tour that promises to be the band’s grandest and most theatrical to date. To do so they need your help, however. Go to the band’s official site and tell them where you live and where you would like to see them perform. Before that tour begins though Faith and the Muse will be performing two sets at Dragon*Con, one acoustic set which will present some of the band’s songs as “unplugged” variations as well as a full set to take place one of the nights of the convention. Which night it will be has yet to be announced though. Check out the video for their latest album’s title track, “The Burning Season”, after the break.
