CONTEST: Win Spider Lilies’ “Cyclogenesis” Album!
Spider Lilies, the electro goth rock project of Stacey Campbell, will be hanging out throughout Dragon*Con weekend after their performance on Thursday evening. Their latest album titled Cyclogenesis will be available at the convention, but you could win a free copy before then!
You may recognize Stacey as the former guitarist of The Crüxshadows, back in the early 2000’s. While the Spider Lilies project has been around for years it wasn’t until 2005 that a physical limited edition CD was released. Their first full length came out the next year, titled In the Light. It was a good solid album and left me excited when I heard that a followup was in the works by the name of Cyclogenesis. The first copies of this album will be available at Dragon*Con, and we have one especially for you. Enjoy a track from the CD called “Pay” below and enter for a chance at the CD.
Cyclogenesis will also feature another former member of The Crüxshadows for a few tracks, violinist Rachel McDonnell. Cool news for Dragon*Con attendees is that Rachel will also be at the convention and performing one of her featured tracks on stage with the Spider Lilies on Thursday evening. If you are attending the convention and happen to be the lucky winner, arrangements can be made to pick it up there in person. Or we can ship it. Be sure to fill out the boxes completely though, or we can’t accept the entry! Voting is allowed once per day up until the end of the month. Sorry to cut this one off earlier than usual, but it just makes sense!
