Why, Dragon*Con just wouldn’t be the same without the mighty con-regular Voltaire present!
The picture above is of Voltaire posing in front of hundreds of fans last year at Dragon*Con 2008. You can’t see me in this picture, but I’m standing just off camera to the left! The Renaissance Gypsy man is always busy with something whether it be his outstanding music career, his animation, writing, toy making, or… well… I wouldn’t put anything past the man, honestly. His comedic concerts are always a memorable experience as he really seems to be in his element when on stage. Normally touring by himself with his microphone, acoustic guitar, and hat he recently traveled the country with a full band including his stop at last year’s Dragon*Con. Word has not been said on whether Voltaire will be all by his lonesome or sporting the full backing band at the convention this year. The video below was filmed at Mr. Small’s in Pittsburgh, PA. The performance includes the full band, however the camera tends to stay focused on Voltaire. The song is from his latest album To The Bottom Of The Sea and is titled “Death Death (Devil, Devil, Devil, Devil, Evil, Evil, Evil, Evil Song)”.
