I haven’t posted this video yet? Seriously? Well, I guess that’s okay because today is Chamillionaire’s birthday. Who the hell is that, you ask? He’s the fella who put out that song “Ridin’ Dirty” that has been tearing a new hole in hip-hop radio and TV for a while now. You’ve probably heard it, even if you don’t listen to rap music. It’s a pretty silly song, the premise being that he is doing matters of the illegal persuasion… and the cops are trying to catch him. And since the cop is played by Deebo from the Friday series (Buy it now!) in the video, they are the bad guys. I know, I know… this is mainstream rap.

Weird Al Yankovic has his own take on the song though, as he so often does. “White and Nerdy” is the name of Al’s parody, a single from his twelfth album titled Straight Outta Lynwood (Buy it now!). With great references that only nerds like me understand flying out of the speakers left and right, I can’t help but love this song. My favorite part of the video is the Star Wars Holiday Special (Holy shit, somebody uploaded the whole TV special to Google!) reference…

    Hey,

Just to let you know, it’s Yankovic, not Yankovich. I noticed you had it spelled that way on all the post about him… It’s a definite hard C sound, not a ch. =)

Wow, you’re right. Can’t believe I never caught that. Thanks for letting me know!
