mc chris is dead in 2008?At a show recently, mc chris officially announced the title of his upcoming all-new album. The surprise: It isn’t Six Feet Under and Rising as he had earlier reported. He made the news public at a show in Arizona first, though news never spread throughout the online community until he announced it at the Gainsville, FL show. Fans took the knowledge to the mc chris forum and, after tormenting their fellow fans for a bit, announced that the new full-length album will be titled… mc chris is dead.

Many fans chose not to believe the news, as they had already been duped once. All mc chris had to say on the matter was a smug “everything is going as planned, dooku.”

He had recently told many fans, myself included, that the title was “not what everyone thinks it is” and that the real title is “right underneath everybody’s noses,” possibly referring to the track that he had recently posted on his MySpace titled “mc chris is dead.” The line has also recently been displayed across much of mc chris’ merch and website. So is the new album titled mc chris is dead or will it change again before it’s expected release date in early 2008? Only mc chris knows for sure.

Stop by mcchris.com on November 23!In the meantime, however, rumors that a “new old album” will be released sooner than later are running rampant. If all goes as planned, the CD should be released on Black Friday (November 23). Allegedly, the album will cost $10 and will be a collection of unreleased old tracks by mc chris with his old band, The Lee Majors.

In fact, mc chris plans on having a HUGE sale on Black Friday. Both new shirt styles and old favorites, thought to never be printed again, will be up for low prices. The shirts that are currently in the store will be reduced as well. New stickers, hats, bags, and even ladies underwear are to be featured in the big sale on mcchris.com, all for reduced and rock-bottom prices. Not to mention the exclusive Lee Majors album previously mentioned. And don’t you start complaining that you have to spend $10 on it, his entire back catalogue is up for free download on this very blog. We all owe him. Keep an eye on his website and be sure to snag you some swag on the big day. You know, on your lunch break… since everyone has to work that day.

Oh! Real quick, since we’re on the topic of mc chris. In late October, he was invited to the Halloween party at the Playboy Mansion. He was the date of Haydn Porter, July 2007 coed of the month. Pictures from the event have been posted on Playboy.com. Haydn and mc chris can be seen in this one. Oh, and the night got much better. Read his blog entry about the night.
