I’ve been watching a lot of this show lately, Xavier: Renegade Angel. It’s made by the same people who did MTV2′s Wonder Showzen and can be found on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. The absurdity and erratic story telling of the series makes it one of the funniest, yet weirdest, shows on television today.

The show has completed it’s second season but, at this point, has not yet been released on to DVD. The final episode of the first season, titled “Shakashuri Blowdown”, dedicates the final chunk of the episode to a pretty intense music scene. Xavier, conflicted with the death of his father, splits himself into two separate entities in order to destroy himself. An epic battle of Shakashuri, or giant flute-like instruments, takes place under standard St. Louis rules. Turn the volume up and immerse yourself in this video.

You will need to watch two separate videos in order to get the entire scene, as the people at Adult Swim chose to upload it that way.
