I suppose I should elaborate…

Just the other day I found out that I will be able to attend an Ego Likeness gig in Charlottesville, VA conveniently scheduled on my 21st birthday. Both to celebrate the news and to ease some boredom, I took the artwork from Ego Likeness’ new limited EP South (Buy it before they run out!) and added some little birthday hats as well as some obnoxious text. The whole thing was a five minute task, most of which was spent using MS Paint…

As you can see, nothing elaborate. Shortly after posting the image in my personal blog Steve must have spotted it and been amused enough to repost it in their blog along with the tagline “For Skittles birthday I will be handing him his balls on a plate.” He then proceeded to create the beautiful visual aid seen above. So, yeah, my balls are apparently quite large and cinnamony in case you readers were curious.

Try and check out Ego Likeness on tour, try and hunt me down to say hi if you’re planning on attending the Charlottesville show! And be sure to snag you a copy of South, the first of four very limited compass-themed EPs, either here or at a live show. Only 300 copies were made, and once they hit the halfway mark sold they will no longer be offering them online and they can only be acquired directly from the band at shows.
