That’s right, Amazon.com has officially launched it’s mp3 branch. And as a reminder, the Gods and I would be greatly moved if you were to bring your traffic here on the way to shop. More affiliate kickbacks for me means more great content for you! *on knees*

Why should you shop Amazon.com? Aside from me getting a 20% kickback from each sell until the end of the year, after which it reverts to 10%? Well, it’s cheaper than iTunes. And you don’t have to deal with the obnoxious iTunes program either. Even if you happen to be the type who prefers having a hard copy of every album you own, the mp3 store offers prices that may make you reconsider. Individual songs range between $.89 and $.99 and full albums will run you just a mere $5.99 to $9.99, the top 100 of which are each $8.99 or less. Not only are the prices great, but you get a great product. Instead of having to wait for your CD to arrive in the mail, you get instant satisfaction… instant DRM-free and 256kbps satisfaction. That means you can do whatever the hell you want with the file and never worry about the feds knocking your door down. Well, I guess I shouldn’t go that far. Those bodies in your freezer may still attract some unwanted police attention. Don’t worry though, Amazon.com will BAIL YOU OUT!

Okay, that last part is a lie. Everything else is true though!

Here are some albums you may be interested in just off the top of my head…

Welcome to the future, my friends.
