It’s Independence Day over in Ukraine. I used to work with a Ukrainian woman named Natela, she was cool as hell. She let me borrow a lot of her Russian and Ukrainian CD’s and such. She quit though. One name that always stuck out in all of the music she gave me though was Sofia Rotaru, or Софія Михайлівна Ротару for my Ukrainian readers. From what I’ve gathered, I think she’s like the Soviet Madonna. Anyway, I have no idea if this song is in Russian or Ukrainian or what, but I just love her voice…
