Happy 19th anniversary to Mary Poole and The Cure frontman Robert Smith!

This is The Cure’s highest charting single in America, “Lovesong”. Originally written for his long-time girlfriend as a wedding present, it was included on 1989′s Disintegration and released as the second single from the disc. Don’t quote me on this, but it’s probably the most covered of the band’s songs too.
