That’s right.  After a lengthy trial and then a lengthy retrial, Phil Spector will spend somewhere between the next fifteen years and the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of the second degree murder of actress Lana Clarkson, who was shot in her mouth at his Los Angeles home.

Spector is relevant to society otherwise as the musical producer/artist responsible for the creation of the “Wall of Sound” technique. Since then he has worked with the likes of Ramones, The Beatles, and the post-Let it Be solo projects of George Harrison and John Lennon.


Clearly a sane individual.
