YSLAR Updates: August ’07

A month has passed since my last YSLAR update, and not a lot has happened in the YSLAR world. I didn’t post very much in July, a mere ten posts to be precise, as I’ve been busy lately. That, however, is a crappy excuse and I shall try harder!

Dragon*Con is in a month from now, so you can expect more posts about bands attending the convention this year over the next few weeks… followed by a weekend of very little, if any, posts from your humble narrator. I’ll be down in Atlanta rocking out and promoting The Crüxshadows. If you’re in the area, you should definitely check it out.

I’ve been getting a few spam comments lately. While these are annoying, they mean my blog’s garnering an at least minorly noticeable amount of hits. I’ll be doing my best to police the few comments I get (post moar plz), but if I miss one let me know.

I’ve had to switch my file host. MediaMax, believe it or not, stopped letting me upload and host anything. Seriously. I sent an e-mail to their support and have yet to receive a reply. As such, I sent them a rather nasty e-mail blasting their poor site, poorer customer service, and I demanded that they bump my account down to a free account instead of charging me $5 a month for absolutely nothing. Something that they have yet to do… if I get a charge for this month, it’s getting disputed. So, yeah, by all means AVOID MEDIAMAX AND STREAMLOAD! I am using a site called FileDen now and it seems to be working quite well, I may end up bumping my account to paid here in a bit if they can keep their shit together.
