So The Cure just recently announced the dates for their upcoming comeback world tour kicking off at the Fuji Rock Festival later this month and going all the way up to October 17 where they’ll finish up in Dallas, TX. They’ll be hitting my city in mid-September, but at about that time I’ll still be recuperating from Dragon*Con both physically and monetarily so I’m not so sure if I’ll be attending.

Placebo is about to begin touring also, tagging along with Linkin Park and a number of other bands on the Projekt Revolution Tour. Placebo is one of my girlfriend’s favorite bands, and a band that she’s never seen live, so we’ll be going to a show on this tour. Because, you know, that’s fair.

I was scouring YouTube browsing through The Cure’s music videos when I stumbled across this beauty: The Cure and Placebo both on stage performing “If Only We Could Sleep Tonight” from The Cure’s Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me (Buy it now!) album. I looked around online but I couldn’t find anywhere to tell me where it was filmed, although it was apparently released on the special edition of Placebo’s Meds.
