NEWS: New Lennon cover compilation CD out now!

Instant karma's gonna get you!Today saw the release of Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur, a CD housing a number of John Lennon covers done by famous bands. Among the bands are Green Day (playing the album’s first single), U2 (as if you could keep them off of a disc benefiting Africa), Aerosmith, Avril Lavigne, Matisyahu, and Regina Spektor. In the spirit of Lennon, and as the title of the disc suggests, the proceeds of the CD and digital sales will go to benefit the battle for human rights in Darfur thanks to Amnesty International. One track that should have been present, in my opinion, is The CrĂĽxshadows’ cover of “Happy Xmas (War is Over)” from the Christmas compilation Projekt put out a few years back (Buy it now!). Because, ya know, every CD should have The CrĂĽxshadows on it! ;-)
