We have reached the month of September, a traditionally slow month in You Sound Like A Robot history. Following a week at the craziest convention in the area Dragon*Con I have to come back and catch up on school work. On top of this I’m now working between two jobs, so free time is scarce. Anyway, let’s talk about the con!
I was there all weekend, from Thursday to Monday. I had a blast. I got to see a lot of cool people and attend a few awesome concerts. This nifty shark was seen floating high above crowds in the hotels of the convention, drawing everybody’s attention. I thought it was pretty cool. I took a lot of other pictures, check them out on my Twitter. I included a few after the break though.
Check out Batgirl and Robin. This may be my favorite picture from the weekend.
I actually brought along a Space Ghost costume to wear at some points. I was the only Space Ghost that I encountered for about the whole weekend but once I took off my costume I saw a couple more. This one had a Zorak and Brak with them, the first time I have ever seen these two costumed. Maybe I will do a Moltar costume another year.
One of my favorite moments was encountering a gaggle of Supermen. Is it a gaggle? I don’t know. Anyway they were posing for photos when a disgruntled officer came over to harass them and make them move. While most dispersed the one Superman stood strong and argued his point. Come on, officer, give him a break! How many times has he saved the planet?
