More from Ego Likeness
The second chapter in darkwave band Ego Likeness‘ Compass EPs series is now available for preorder.
Like it’s predecessor, South, the EP will be self released and limited to a small run of 300 units. The disc, which is moving much faster than South according to the band on their LiveJournal, will run you $10 and each comes numbered and signed by Donna Lynch and Steven Archer. The track list can be found after the break.

Ego Likeness, West
- Sirens and Satellites
- I Live on What’s Left 2008
- Burn Witch Burn [Hypofixx Remix]
- The Egg of the Mother
- Severine [Sidhe Mix, by Hopeful Machines]
The first track was first introduced to me at the band’s show at Dragon*Con. Check out this video of that performance. Track two looks to be a remix of the band’s classic song “I Live on What’s Left”. Track three, a remix of “Burn Witch Burn”, is one-man industrial act Hypofixx’s final remix. So that makes this disc an extra-collectible item for fans of his work. “The Egg of the Mother” is, according to Steven, a “drastically different original version of ‘Save your Serpent’” recorded in 2002. Rounding out the disc is a remix from Archer’s solo project, Hopeful Machines.
