Lucky band number thirteen (or is it unlucky, I can never remember) in our spotlight on Dragon*Con 2008 is Hollowboy.

Currently on a mini-tour supporting Mindless Self Indulgence, Baltimore-based band Hollowboy will be stopping by Dragon*Con to play on Sunday night with the band after a few stops in North Carolina and Virginia. Influenced by the music of the 80′s, Hollowboy produces an electronic/new wave/industrial sound in their tracks and remixes. I’m really digging their sound, personally. I wish they had more music available. This track, “The Walk”, is a cover of The Cure‘s 1983 single which later appeared on their album Japanese Whispers. My favorite era of Cure music.
