MP3: Jihae, “Simple Man”
Jihae (pronounced “jee-heh” according to her MySpace) is another artist whose work appeared in my inbox recently. Those of you fortunate enough to live in New York City have the opportunity to check out her local live shows as she doesn’t seem to travel much. After a successful release of her first album, My Heart is an Elephant, she has just released an EP by the name of Afterthoughts. It contains four remixed tracks from the previous album as well as a new single, “Simple Man”, which has been made available to you in this entry by Jihae and Sneak Attack Media.
Her sound is smooth with a multi-instrument backdrop and a biting but beautiful, unique voice. And she has about the coolest site I’ve ever seen, check it out!
