I haven’t owned a Weezer album since 1994′s The Blue Album. I haven’t really listened to them since I heard “Beverly Hills” for the… well… three millionth time. I had just lost interest in the band, honestly.

In the past few days I noticed some friends online talking about the new Weezer video. So I decided to give it a good watch and ended up enjoying it thoroughly. The song, a stab at the band’s record label for demanding a more commercial sound and look, is a good song. The video is absolutely amazing. A tribute to internet pop culture, many familiar faces grace the screen from Tay Zonday to the Numa Numa guy and much, much more.
