Heartbeeps, Canton EPPart of running a music blog is dealing with many e-mails from assorted musicians and bands who want to send you their music. Don’t misinterperate me and think that I disapprove of this, however! I love it! Keep sending me your music! Send me more, in fact! Some of the music I get sent is… well… eh. Most of it is good though. And some, just a few of the e-mails that I get, are enjoyable enough that I just have to repost. I can’t be posting about every band that e-mails me, of course, so don’t be offended if you e-mailed me and your band never pops up here.

Heartbeeps, a band out of the United Kingdom, is one of the bands that I dig enough to show you guys. They sent me a copy of their latest EP, Canton EP. It’s only four tracks, but it has been repeated quite a few times. It’s very good chill music. You can download the disc on the Heartbeeps MySpace too if you like. The singer sounds a little bit like Ringo Starr at times, which may be my naturally ignorant American ears associating everyone with an English accent with a member of The Beatles. We all do it. We Americans are an interesting species at times.
