Oontz.Years ago I was doing some online research for WWII. No reason really, it’s just something that interests me. I remember being curious as to why Adolf Hitler’s voice was able to have such an impact on so many people, and so I was searching for audio files of him speaking. I found a number of his speeches and noticed a few random files that popped up with “DJ Adolf” in the title. I downloaded some out of curiosity. Someone had taken various recordings of Hitler speaking and put it to a techno beat. I shared the music with a few of my friends and it became somewhat of an inside joke until the DJ Adolf mp3s were eventually lost in an epic hard drive crash and pretty much forgotten.

Party like it's 1939!Cut to a few years later. I find myself bored and staring at the computer. I’m not sure what exactly went through my mind, but I decided to Google DJ Adolf to see if anything would come up. I remembered that years earlier nothing tangible was found by searching for the DJ, but I decided to try it again. I found out that an entire collection of music had been released, an album named Hatesampler! I was disappointed that the music had been put together as a racist extremist gesture and not out of amusement as I had originally taken it, but I hastily hunted down the album and any other mp3s that I could find.

Sad.Today, April 20th, is commonly known as Adolf Hitler’s birthday (among other things, heh heh). As such, I have decided to post the album on my blog. I post it not out of support for the whack job right-wing extremists who support bigotry but because… well… I think it’s funny. Something about Nazi propaganda synced with upbeat electronic music which at times tinges on disco just amuses me. It’s nothing phenomenal, the music itself is mid-grade, but I do hope you can get some amusement out of it and party like it’s 1939. Just don’t bump it in your car around town! ;-)

P.S. It is far from my intention to offend anyone or bring any misguided idolization to Adolf Hitler. Use your brain, guys.

    by the way u shouldnt post those songs because i have to say in combination with a techno beat its makin his speaches less harmful and more kult…. u shouldnt forget how horrible they were…

    Look, guys… I understand how bad of an idea Nazi Germany was. I know how much of a whackjob Hitler was. I made a point of making sure that it was clear in the post that I’m not a supporter of the man, his ideals, or anything like that. And the Passover thing was just ironic. Get a sense of humor, folks!

    honestly as i am currently studying a course on nazi germany and Hitler i can see the implications of these tracks as seen to some people but i agree with skittle

    these tracks are no different to a humorous cartoon portraying Hitler as a nut job surrounded by swastikas at a Nuremberg rally for example- some malice is seen but its just a joke

    i love the tracks but ther all very similar

    its all a bit of fun tho
