More from George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, The Beatles
Here is part four in my posting of The Beatles classic animated series, originally airing back in 1965. This time around I am featuring episodes twelve through fifteen.

The videos are as originally uploaded on McCKLENN‘s YouTube page. Each episode is split into two separate videos for time purposes. Every episode follows the same pattern: one cartoon based on a single track by The Beatles, two sing-a-long segments where you kids at home get to join in on the tunes, and a second cartoon. Enjoy!

Episode twelve seems to show off some good old fashioned racism that you just can’t get away with on television today. Opening with “Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby” The Beatles find themselves in Japan where some locals have mistaken them for their “honorable ancestors.” The two sing-a-long tracks featured this time around are “I’m A Loser” and “I Wanna Be Your Man”. In the final short the gang visits Rome and encounters some incredibly stereotypical Italians. They end up rocking the Coliseum as only The Beatles can.

The thirteenth episode begins with Ringo finding a job as a stuntman in “I’m A Loser”. It does not end well for him. The sing-a-long feature contains the tracks “No Reply” and “I’m Happy Just To Dance With You”. In the second toon the band comes into ownership of a golden statue of Musica, the Goddess of music. A performance of “I Wanna Be Your Man” concludes the show.

The fourteenth episode of the series begins with a short for “Don’t Bother Me”. In this cartoon two spies break into The Beatles room to steal their top secret songbook. Following this are two sing-a-long tracks, “It Won’t Be Long” and “I Should Have Known Better”. In the second cartoon, featuring the song “No Reply”, the band encounters a thief known as Anyface in Japan. When the master mimic imitates Paul McCartney it is up to a superfan to help decide which is the real Beatle.

The final episode that I’ll be posting this round is number fifteen. It begins with “I’m Happy Just To Dance With You” where Paul wins a dancing bear named Bonnie. It’s hard to really describe, you’ll have to watch it. “Don’t Bother Me” and “Can’t Buy Me Love” are the two tracks featured on the sing-a-longs. The episode is rounded out with an animated short for “Mr. Moonlight”. The band gets the chance to catch an eclipse with a Ludwig Von Brilliant. The only problem is it’s on a tropical island inhabited by savages.
