The internets have been abuzz lately over this new fan video for mc chris‘ song “mc chris is dead”. Ben Trandem is responsible for the mostly animated masterpiece.

The song “mc chris is dead” is actually the title track from his 2008 album of the same name. One of my personal favorites. Check that video out below. In the mean time, mc chris’ latest album just saw release this 4/20. The culmination of the “part six” mini-albums is appropriately titled mc chris goes to hell. It is not up on iTunes or Amazon mp3 quite yet however you can snag one of the limited CD copies from mc chris’ Indie Merch Store. You can also get it at one of his tour stops. But seriously, the disc really is superb. I have only had my copy for a day or two and it has already been listened to quite a bit. Each new mix is very well executed and the two new sketches are funny and do not overpower the CD. Definitely give it a listen!
