VIDEO: Galactic Empire State Of Mind
I happened upon this great video posted over on College Humor the other day. It is a parody of the song “Empire State Of Mind” that you’ve heard on the radio by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys with a heavy dose of Star Wars.
Penned by Owen Parsons and Conor McKeon “Galactic Empire State Of Mind” tells the tale of a tormented Darth Vader with supporting vocals from Princess Leia. Throughout the video Leia actually plays a “nalargon” or red ball jet organ as made famous by Max Rebo. That is until she strips down to her slave outfit… watch that after the break.
