Here is another chunk of the episodes from The Beatles old cartoon series. This post, being part three in the series, features episodes eight through eleven.

Each episode is listed in the order of its original apperance and has been uploaded by McCKLENN over on their YouTube page. Two videos comprise each episode, flowing from cartoon to two sing-a-long features and rounded out by another cartoon. Each toon being based upon a single track by The Beatles, of course.

The eighth episode starts off with an animated short based upon “Anytime At All”. The boys get to take on the personas of the famed Three Musketeers (and Ringo!) in this episode. Two sing-a-long features follow where you get to sing along with “I’ll Be Back” and “Little Child”. The episode is rounded out with a short poking fun at the modern art community. An inspirational performance of “Twist And Shout” ensues.

Episode nine kicks off with the animated short called “Little Child”. A crafty Indian girl sets out to prove that girls are as good at hunting as boys are by capturing The Beatles. Following is a sing-a-long for “Long Tall Sally” and one for “Twist And Shout”. In the cartoon for “I’ll Be Back” Ringo is gifted with a solid gold guitar, accented by a few diamonds. It, of course, gets stolen and the gang has to set out to bring it back. Wouldn’t a gold guitar be heavy and have funky tone?

The tenth episode opens with another favorite of mine, “Long Tall Sally”. It sticks out to me because it features an epic battle between a cursed John Lennon and Ringo Starr in a creepy castle. Two sing-a-longs follow with the songs “I’ll Follow The Sun” and “When I Get Home”. The final installment in the episode is “I’ll Cry Instead” finding George Harrison with “autographitis” and trying out some karate therapy.

Number eleven opens with The Beatles in a highwayman/car repairman robbery situation in “I’ll Follow The Sun”. The two sing-a-long features in the episode are “I’ll Cry Instead” and “Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby”. Finalizing the episode is the animated short based on “When I Get Home”. The gang ends up in Notre Dame head to head(s) with the infamous Quasimoto in this cartoon.
