YSLAR Updates: February ’10

So we have passed the first month of 2010. You may notice the new layout on the site. It’s very red. What do you think? Is it in honor of Valentine’s Day? Not really. I just thought it ended up looking pretty cool and it seemed like a good time to change things up. Let me know if you find any errors or general discombobulation.

Over January two of my favorite bands were shaken up a bit. The CrĂĽxshadows were victims of a pretty devastating theft. Ego Likeness also went through some rocky personal issues. Fortunately both have since overcome these setbacks and are continuing forward. Great news, indeed. Speaking of Ego Likeness, the above image was painted by Steven Archer. You can buy it and other sweet works on their LiveJournal.


Here’s to a good February. I’ll be making a trip back to my hometown of Mobile, AL in about a week, so that is pretty cool.
