SomethingALaMode, or more simply known as SALM, is a duet hailing from Paris, France. The two produce a unique and very grooveable “electro-string” sound combining the always great sound of string instrumentation along with some modern electronic influence.

Thomas Roussel and Yannick Grandjean are the members of SALM, playing the violin and cello respectively. They just recently released the video for the song “RondoParisiano” as the first single from the newest self-titled album. It features vocals by Karl Lagerfeld, a well known fashion designer and artist over in France. I’m not sure what he’s saying but the music sure is good. Watch the video below and check out their whole album!
