MP3: mc chris, “bad (dd) runner”
So mc chris is awesome. I just felt the need to share some more of his music on here. I’ve rounded up three very eclectic tracks this time around.
The first track is a mc chris classic titled “bad (dd) runner”. It was made following the first official remix contest thrown over at mc’s message boards. The winning track is actually featured in this Star Wars Galaxies inspired video. This song features samples ranging from Vanilla Ice to Blade Runner.
The well known “fett’s vette” was actually featured on the soundtrack of Kevin Smith’s recent film Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Another track was recorded and offered up as perhaps a “credits” song, however it was rejected as being “too dirty.” Too dirty for a Kevin Smith flick?! The song was released online for a short time under the title “m and z rough” but it was soon removed.
Everybody knows Beetlejuice! This song, “beetle”, was recorded in honor of the loveable dead guy from the 1989 Tim Burton film. Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! 1-2-3!
