NEWS: Go Meat Free On Mondays!
Apparently Meatless Mondays has been around for a while here in the states. It wasn’t until I heard of Sir Paul McCartney’s launching of the similar Meat Free Monday over in the UK that I actually checked it out.
The movement has also been endorsed by Yoko Ono. I’ve seen mentions of it on her Twitter. Al Gore is also a supporter! He invented the internet, so he must be pretty on the ball. Give it a try. It’s healthy and might help the environment. It isn’t that difficult to go vegetarian one day a week. Stop by Taco Bell and get a seven layer burrito. Mmm…
