More from Sapphire Rebellion, The CrĂĽxshadows
The Tallahassee based Sapphire Rebellion consists of frontman Tim Curry, bassist Jason Palmer, and Jay Godin on drums. Their darkwave sound has been garnering the band a bit of attention since their formation.

You may recognize Tim Curry as a former guitarist of The CrĂĽxshadows. After helping establish the band on their earlier albums and subsequently leaving he has kept busy in the art of music production. He also provided some aid in the creation of Stacey Campbell’s band Spider Lilies. While Sapphire Rebellion does not have any studio albums behind its belt yet they have produced a few tracks which are available online. Check out their “cover” of The CrĂĽxshadows’ older track “Satellite” below. I use the term “cover” loosely since Tim was part of the band when the song was first released. The refreshing reimaging of the song features Tim’s vocals as well as some matured mixing. Not bad at all.
There are also other Telemetry of a Fallen Angel era reworkings reportedly in the making. So do keep an ear out for them!
