More from The Tribe
Flashback a few years. Most of my American readers may not know of The Tribe. I, however, followed this television series pretty intensely for years. WAM!, a division of Starz!, aired the series for a few seasons over here in the states. It was there where I was able to fall in love with it. I would have never seen the show had my interest not been peaked by some of the actors traveling here for Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA five years ago. I got really into the fandom throughout 2004, 2005, and 2006. Unfortunately, though, the scene dissipated at the convention and online after the series was canceled with no hope of return. The online fan groups could not stop arguing with one another either. However, when I stop and think I do remember those years fondly. The Tribe was a good out to me and a number of other youth (and youth in adult costumes) for the world’s troubles. The online presence, though a fraction of what it once was, is still noticeable on Tribeworld.com.
In 2000, the first music album for the show was released. It featured actors and actresses from the first season of the show, most notably Caleb Ross and Meryl Cassie, singing ten tracks with a very late-90′s pop/kid’s show feel. The album, as well as it’s 2003 “remix” release, is out of print and difficult to find. They are still listed on Amazon.co.uk, however. You can also find all five seasons of the show on DVD there. Somebody buy me the last three seasons, I haven’t gotten them yet.

Thank you so much! I had them on my computer and somehow my brother ended up doing something to them, to the point were they wouldn’t play.I was so scared thinking I wouldn’t ever find their songs again. I used to love watching them on WAM! So sad when I found out it got cancelled.
