Indie rockers The Age of Rockets are in the process of making a new “super pretentious” album, a followup to their recent disc Hannah.

Remember those old “choose your own adventure” books? Well Andrew Futral, leader and vocalist of the band, is taking that idea and putting it toward a new record. The epic thirty track album will host ten different songs recorded in three different ways each. Listeners will be able to pick and choose their favorite tracks in order to, well, create your own unique version of the album. Sounds cool, right? Well the good news it is officially getting made. The band is currently throwing a Kickstarter project in order to raise the funds for the album. The initial goal was $8,000. This has since been passed, however the actual album will likely cost upwards of $11,000. So keep donating! There is a lot of cool shit that the band is giving out in return. Check out the Kickstarter page for a nifty video from Futral as well as a list of sweet prizes you’ll get in addition to that good will feeling. And the payment is through Amazon, so load those credit cards up! There is less than a week left too so get to it.
