I hadn’t thought about Little Jimmie Dickens in a long time. He’s well known for his hit “May The Bird Of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose”, a number 1 country hit (and number 15 pop hit) from late 1965. He was born December 19, 1920, which makes him a little more than 7 years older than my father. It’s amazing to see an entertainer still around at that age!
He has been around for a while. Definitely a cool little fellow.
