More from mc chris
Today is the one year anniversary of the infamous Boston, MA bomb scare. You know, the Aqua Teen Hunger Force one. If you’re one of the few folks who have been hiding inside of a shoe (avoiding the clichĂ© “under a rock” phrase here), it basically went like this.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters was about to be released to theaters. A bunch of people thought it would be a cool idea to create LED signs with the likenesses of Ignignokt and Err, a couple Mooninite characters from the show. They then proceeded to scatter these signs about in various cities across the country to help promote the upcoming film. Now, they underestimated post-9/11 paranoia here in the States… but especially in Boston. All hell basically broke out on January 31 in the city. Traffic was halted while bomb squads removed the various signs and blew them up… thinking that they were bombs. After the situation was over, much hilarity ensued while newscasters mispronounced “Aqua Teen” and struggled with “Ignignokt.” And, of course, the gentlemen who were arrested for the crime are two hilarious guys. Watch this video of their news conference about, well, hair.
In remembrance, I am posting two of the songs that mc chris recorded for the TV show under the persona of the characters MC Pee Pants and Sir Loin, a reincarnation of Pee Pants. The songs are “i want candy” and “4 da shorteez”, or “for the shorties” for those of you who can’t read stupid-typing. Hey, I couldn’t find your email posted on your blog so I figured this might work. If you could email me back at bj@m80im.com I’d like to talk to you about ATHF.
[...] Insane-O-Flex, now known as Le Sexoflex (check out their MySpace), is a band from Atlanta, GA who is best (well, pretty much only) known for their pounding song “I Like Your Booty (But I’m Not Gay)” which was featured in Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters. Also on the soundtrack is mc chris’ “i want candy” which you can download on this previous entry. [...]
