MP3/VIDEO: Seven Songs That I Am “Into” Right Now…
It has been a while since my last “Seven Songs” post. They’re always pretty fun though, check out my new seven songs for this round below.

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re not any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now. Post these instructions along with your 7 songs…
1. Michael Jackson, “Human Nature”
I finally got a chance to catch This is It in theaters yesterday. It was a pretty amazing film, MJ certainly had not lost his flair in his old age. His performance of “Human Nature” was particularly memorable.

2. Midnight Oil, “Beds Are Burning”
Remember this gem out of Australia from 1987? What a band Midnight Oil was, eh? Let’s give Australia back to the Aboriginal people, I’m not using it.

3. Cage the Elephant, “Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked”
You’ve probably heard this track kicking butt on the radio. And on TV on the Borderlands commercial. I can’t seem to get enough of it, it’s a down right cool song. There ain’t no rest for the wicked, son!

4. Regina Spektor, “Eet”
I’ve been a fan of Regina Spektor for years now. Her voice is simply unmatchable. I get to hear this song from her newest album, Far, while I am at work a lot. It’s a fun little tune with a fun video.

5. Flotilla, “Prélude and Epilogue”
Flotilla is an indie band based out of Montreal. They just released their second album, One Hundred Words for Water, and I’ve been pretty into it. It is a good album to put on and just chill out to. “Prélude and Epilogue” is a track from the new CD, check it out below. Stop by their MySpace too if you like what you hear!

6. Michael Jackson, “The Way You Make Me Feel”
So what, I can have two MJ songs on here if I want. Maybe I’m just caught up in the This is It hype, but I’ve had a lot of Michael on the brain lately. Check out this song from my favorite of his albums, Bad, “The Way You Make Me Feel”.
7. Roy Jay, “Prettiest Girl in Wal-Mart”
I’ll leave you with this gem from a recently discovered musician, Roy Jay. Roy’s new album is called Lucky Guy, drawing on the sounds of Jimmy Buffett. This song got my attention, however the rest that I heard was pretty great too. Swing by Roy Jay’s official site or, if you’re more into social networking, check out his MySpace and Facebook.
