Harry-Gregson Williams is my favorite composer. Metal Gear Solid is my favorite game series. You can imagine how excited I am that Williams co-composed, with Norihiko Hibino, the original soundtracks for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. He is also scoring the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.I was searching for a good video of Tommy Tallarico’s Video Games Live performing the Metal Gear Solid theme, but I just wasn’t finding a good enough recording to fit my absurd standards. However, I stumbled upon this video done by Eminence Orchestra. I’d never heard of the orchestra, but I was impressed by the video and checked them out. They’ve got a few more videos on their site, give it a look.
