Hailing from all of the way across the world in Queensland, the Aussie swamp rock musician 8 Ball Aitken grew up as a humble banana picker. In time he has honed his skills to produce some pretty rocking music as a guitar picker as well. I am also thoroughly impressed with the amount of hair.

His latest album is the 2008 release Rebel With a Cause. If you happen to live in Australia or Tasmania, more power to you. Check out his tour dates below. Those of us who would have to swim through the Pacific Ocean to catch a show can stay home and enjoy my favorite of 8 Ball’s music videos, “Outback Booty Call”, and an accompanying mp3 after the break.
