More from Dragon*Con
The anticipated pocket program for this year’s Dragon*Con has finally been released. These of course include a schedule of panels and events at the con, as well as a brief description of each, and even maps of the hotels.
Check it out at this link.
Unfortunately there are conflicts in the scheduled performances, as there are every year. Check out a brief music schedule after the break.

Thursday evening marks the beginning of the ceremonies. Spider Lilies and Voltaire will each have a set scheduled set starting at 10pm in the Centennial Ballroom in the Hyatt.
Friday night music fans will have to make their choice between WEEP and Abney Park in the Atrium Ballroom or a performance from How I Became The Bomb and Bella Morte. This will be an incredibly difficult choice for most. I’m not even sure yet which show I will end up at. Bella Morte will actually be filming a music video during their set, however Abney Park promises a new female member of the band and new material. Both shows will surely rock.
Saturday night’s conflict is another difficult one. The Crüxshadows will take over the Centennial Ballroom at midnight for a single set show. With the release of their new single Quicksilver and a new guitarist and dancer, this should be an interesting show. Playing the Atrium ballroom at the same time is the first of many Hellblinki Sextet and Voltaire shows. I will be catching the CXS set, myself, but I do hate missing the other performance.
Sunday has two very different sets scheduled in the wee hours. Faith and the Muse followed by Ayria is scheduled for the larger Centennial Ballroom. The Atrium Ballroom will be hosting a night opened by I Fight Dragons and ending with a performance and Star Wars-themed birthday party from mc chris. I do like Faith and the Muse and Ayria, however I don’t think the mc chris party is something that should be missed. Everyone’s invited!
Of course, there are concourse performances scheduled throughout the weekend as well. Check those out on the schedule between panels.
