More from Dragon*Con, Leonard Nimoy
Yes, the legendary Leonard Nimoy will be present at Dragon*Con this year. Although I highly doubt he will be performing any musical numbers at the convention, I still think everyone should see this music video in their lifetime.

Surely, all of my readers should know who Leonard Nimoy is. Star Trek‘s character Spock, from both the original series and the latest film from J. J. Abrams. Leonard has had many ventures in his career since starring as the loveable Vulcan. He is also an established film director, author, poet, photographer, and… well… musician. This video is for his classic ode to the Lord of the Rings saga character, “The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins”. Watch it after the break, but be forewarned. It is very early 1970′s.

Keep in mind that if you plan on meeting Mr. Nimoy at the convention, you need to prepare for a long line. Also, he will only be attending on Saturday and Sunday. If you’re into Star Trek like I am or interested in hearing some of Nimoy’s other recordings, check out the album in the ad above. Filled with songs from both Leonard and his friend and former co-star William Shatner, Spaced Out is one of my favorites of the CDs that I’ve purchased. Heck, just the novelty of it is worth buying the album.
