Will you be there? THIS… IS… JACKSONVILLE!!!

So it looks like mc chris’ upcoming “spur of the moment” show in Jacksonville, FL is going to be FREE for the first 300 guests, mc’s first free admission show ever outside of New York City. The show will be three days after this year’s Christmas Day on December 28 at a venue down in Jax called Jack Rabbits. Doors open at 8pm, and it will be an all ages event.

It also looks as though a “road trip” of sorts has been loosely organized on the mcchris.com message board where a number of the core online fans are looking to flock to the show to meet and enjoy some good tunes. To add to the uniqueness, mc chris has printed up approximately 100 shirts for the event. Though the design has yet to be released online, mc recently said on his blog that “they feature the black friday ninja and the words mcchris actionville.” So be sure to hit the show and grab yourself an exclusive t-shirt.

On a related note, somebody posted video of an entire show from a previous show at the very same venue in Jacksonville as the upcoming show on YouTube. What strings they had to pull to get an hour long video on YouTube, I have no idea. The sound and picture quality is a bit, well, bootleggy and I get the impression it stops a song or two early. Still much better than most clips online, though. Set list is as follows…
